The Artificial Intelligence Special Interest Group (SRVGS AI SIG) of the San Ramon Valley Genealogy Society was created in 2024 in response to the increasing availability of AI resources on the internet, some specifically for genealogy. There will be monthly meetings, each with a topic announced via email, to people in the society who have attended meetings previously and/or requested to be notified. We will meet on the 4th Monday of each month via Zoom sessions, at 7pm, except for August and December. Our first meeting was in September, 2024.
I obtained a domain, Anstor.org (closest I could get to Ancestor.org), to use for my genealogy-specific projects.
These San Ramon Valley Genealogical Society (SRVGS) web pages were created in August, 2024 by Bill George to support our group's AI SIG. They provide information about learning aids, upcoming meetings and examples of how AI can be used for genealogy.
